| Nearly 30 years of experience in campus planning, capital budgeting and sustainability; and as adjunct faculty in urban geography and environmental planning. At Yale University, Mark was asst. director for planning and worked in support of that university's ambitious rebuilding program. He also chaired the committee that edited Yale's first facilities program and procedures manual. At the University of Utah, Mark was director of facilities planning, guided a long-range development plan and helped prepare the athlete's village for the 2002 Olympic Winter Games. He spoke at the 1996 IOC Symposium on Olympic Villages in Lausanne. Mark is currently Capital Planning Director for the University System of Maryland (13 institutions, 148,000 students occupying 38 million GSF). He is a member of the state's Green Building Council. Mark is a popular conference speaker/moderator. He's published articles on planning and management, and represented institutions in radio and TV interviews. |
